Dubai Ikebana International would love to send our greetings for this beautiful holy time. Merry Christmas and happy new year to everyone
The Ikebana International Dubai Chapter meeting was held at Safa Park 2, with 12 members and 13 guests in attendance. The event celebrated a Christmas theme, featuring beautiful Christmas Ikebana arrangements.
Five talented young children — Emilia, Anita, Shruti Pillai, Gavrielle Ganes, and Naja Aycha — delighted everyone with their lovely Christmas songs. The choir and carols created a joyful atmosphere, with guests happily clapping, singing, and dancing together.
Ms. Reina Akra presented a beautiful and unique Christmas decoration, adding elegance and warmth to the event.
We also sincerely thank Ms. Ayten, our professional photographer, who kindly volunteered to cover the event with great enthusiasm and a warm smile.
The beautiful weather, festive colors, Ikebana demonstrations, and the presentation of Sogetsu certificates made the day truly special. Members and guests enjoyed mingling, chatting, dancing, and sharing food and coffee in a joyful and memorable celebration.

Exhibition Open to the Public
New members Sharmeen Imran, Rubina Jawaid, and Afshan Mansoor delighted visitors with their stunning arrangements at Japan Fest 2025, a vibrant celebration held at Beach Luxury Hotel Karachi and brought to life by the Consulate-General of Japan in Karachi, together with the Arts Council of Pakistan, Pakistan Japan Cultural Association, and Pakistan Japan Business Forum. Chapter President Tarannum Afroze, joined by board members Nuzhat Jamali, Rubina Jawaid, Sabra Tufail, and member Fauzia Sarwana, warmly welcomed guests to the exhibition, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
