Demonstration Ohara
The monthly meeting of Gurgaon Chapter was held on Saturday, 27th September, 2025, at The Catriona, Ambience Island, Gurgaon.
The theme of the meeting was: Magic of Lines in Ikebana and the presentation cum demonstration was given by our very talented Sub Grandmaster, Dr. Indira Misra. The demonstration enabled the viewers to understand the beauty of an arrangement that can be derived from a simple curve or a line. The lines and curves not only shape the flower arrangements but also our way of seeing and understanding things. The meeting was concluded with sumptuous refreshments.

The October monthly meeting of our chapter was held on Friday, 31st October 2025, at The Club House of DLF Oakwood Estate, Gurgaon. It was chaired and opened by Ms. Anuradha Sharma, President of the Gurgaon Chapter.
The theme of the meeting was: Magic of Lines in Ikebana and was a continuation to the previous month’s demonstration by Dr. Indira Misra- Sub Grandmaster. The members were expected to use their imagination and create arrangements on the principles of Magical Lines by leaning from Dr. Indira Misra in her presentation cum demonstration.
The members and guests came in good numbers and showcased their creativity with beautiful magical Lines.

Workshop Ohara
The November monthly meeting of the Ikebana international Gurgaon was held on Saturday, 22 November 2025, at The Club House of DLF Oakwood Estate, Gurgaon.
The Theme of the meeting was: Gardening for Ikebana. The meeting was chaired and opened by Dr. Indira Misra.
For Ikebana practitioners, it is always a struggle to get the leaves or flowers that bring out the beauty of any floral arrangement. To overcome this basic hurdle, Dr. Indira Misra, a veteran and an Ikebana Enthusiast holding the profile of Sub Grandmaster, agreed to come forward to share the knowledge and experience with the upcoming Ikebana Enthusiasts. She gave an important inspiring talk on the plants and flowers that can be grown even in pots for the Ikebana arrangements.
