Demonstration and Chapter Meeting
The 5th Monthly Meeting of the Ikebana International Gurugram was held on the 14th of December 2024 at C-1/7, DLF Phase 1, Gurugram.
The agenda of this meeting was to come together and celebrate the art of Ikebana, exchange insights and deepen the understanding of this beautiful art.
The meeting was held to recapture the learnings of the Nigeshi Sensei’s teachings under whose able guidance a workshop was arranged by Ohara Delhi, and a lot of members took the advantage of learning from this accomplished teacher. The members in presence created the arrangements learnt and practiced during the Nigeshi Sensei’s workshop and the arrangements were later inspected and discussed by our mentor Dr. Indira Misra

The 6th Monthly Meeting of the Ikebana International Gurugram was held on the 17th of January 2025 at HUDA Gymkhana Club, Gurugram.
The meeting featured an engaging and insightful talk by renowned Ikebana Artist-Ms. Syama Balbir.
The Topic of the discussion was how to prepare and perfect the Ikebana arrangements. The talk was to substantiate and prepare the members for the upcoming Ikebana exhibition to be held in March 2025.
Ms. Syama Balbir, during her chat and demonstration, shared her expertise and valuable tips and techniques in creating and refining the floral arrangements. Indeed it was a session filled with great learning and creative camaraderie.
