Demonstration　 Open to the Public
We began the new 2025-2026 season with “New Season, New Inspiration” program featuring demonstrators from four major schools. As our September program coincided with the Flower Piano event happening at Golden Gate Park, more guests than usual came to see our demonstration.

Mr. Ryan Okada from San Francisco Consulate announced that our chapter is the recipient of a FY2025 Foreign Minister’s Commendation. As we celebrated this past January, 2025 marks the occasion of our chapter’s 65th anniversary and this award recognizes the efforts of all our past and present members to share and promote the Art of Ikebana.

Side table arrangements were made by I.I. members.
Fresh cuttings, plants, books, tools and containers were available for members to purchase at our Ways and Means Table.
Tea and treats followed the conclusion of the program.
