Demonstration Workshop　 Chapter Meeting　 Open to the Public
Sogetsu, Ohara, Ichiyo
Following a short business meeting, President Yuki Brown and Kimiko Ikeda demonstrated how to use ‘Furoshiki’ to wrap a container for an Ikebana arrangement. They also demonstrated how to wrap a Kleenex tissue box using a special holiday furoshiki and also how to wrap a wine bottle for a gift.
In a second presentation, Polly Curan presented helpful techniques that members can use when photographing their arrangements.
The demonstrations were followed by an engaging cooperative workshop where members worked together to create and photograph their own wrapped containers.
