Demonstration Chapter Meeting Mami Flower Design
We had a meeting at the National Taiwan University Hospital International Convention Center, first floor Meeting Room 101 on February 17th, 2025. The atmosphere was full of happiness during this time. So our board members got a good chance to go on the stage. They all held flower bouquets and said auspicious words to wish everyone happy Chinese New Year. After a drum performance, the teachers from Mami Flower Design offered a demonstration. At the end, some models put on these finished flower design works and then went around the meeting room to let the audience have a close look.

Demonstration Chapter Meeting Sogetsu
The meeting on March 17th, 2025 was held at the National Taiwan University Hospital International Convention Center, first floor meeting Room 101. At the beginning, there was a music performance to entertain the attendees. The ikebana demonstration was given by the teachers from three branches of Sogetsu School in Taiwan. The teachers of Sogetsu School put not only floral materials but also non-floral materials into their arrangements. In this way, they said they tried to depict the flowers blooming in the spring gentle breeze.
April 7th, 2025 Ohara
Demonstration Chapter Meeting
Because the World Convention is coming soon, the meeting of this month was held earlier on April 7th, 2025 at the National Taiwan University Hospital International Convention Center, first floor Meeting Room 101. We had a privilege to invite the Evergreen Chorus of Taipei Municipal Ximen Elementary School (台北市西門國小 昔の第五尋常小學校) to perform for us. Its major members are the teachers retired from various schools. They gave performance to celebrate the school’s 110th anniversary. Their singing sound was very sweet and enjoyable. After the performance, they also drove the audience to sing happily all together. And there was an ikebana demonstration by some teachers from Ohara School. To express the feeling of spring, each one utilized one flower style to do her arrangement.

Demonstration Chapter Meeting
The gathering on May 12th, 2025 was held at the National Taiwan University Hospital International Convention Center, first floor Meeting Room 101. First, we had an election for the board members and parliamentarians during the next two-year term. The 19 board members and three parliamentarians will take office for the next term. Second, the day’s program including a dance performance with Chinese Kung Fu feature, a lecture about utilizing the wisdom of I Ching (an ancient Chinese book of divination) to do the floral work as well as a flower arrangement performance was given by the I Ching Floral Art Association.
This gathering marks the end of all activities for the year 2024-2025.
