Workshop　 Chapter Meeting
The meeting was held at Derwandi Restaurant. Many ladies, I.I. members and 10 guests, Mr. Imanishi Jun, the Consul General of Japan to Dubai and our honorary member attended the meeting.

Workshop was done by Samia Jaber. Samia gave a brief introduction about Ikebana and Ikebana international. Samia is a Sogetsu teacher and she also explained Sogetsu School, its philosophy and its techniques.
Although many members were away on their summer travels, a fairly good number of members and guests attended the workshop. They were stimulated and excited to know about Sogetsu School and its style.

A beautiful interaction and mingling occurred especially between the old and young generations, too. Everyone was happily enjoyed the ikebana workshop. Then, we had the delicious Lebanese breakfast with Arabic tea and coffee.

This is our last meeting before summer and we look forward to other meetings after summer.
