The afternoon was convened for members and guests, featuring a distinctive program of art, literature, and ikebana. Professor Meher Afroze, a distinguished painter and printmaker, and Munawwar Saeed, an accomplished actor, both decorated artists and recipients of the Pride of Performance, served as chief guests. Chapter President, Tarannum Afroze, designed three floral arrangements inspired by Meher Afroze’s paintings. Each arrangement extended the artistic canvas, with the use of flowers, stems, and spatial composition reflecting the painter’s vision. Meher Afroze engaged the audience by sharing her artistic experiences and elucidating the connections between her paintings and Tarannum Afroze’s floral arrangements.
Subsequently, Munawwar Saeed Sahib addressed the audience. His mastery of Urdu, refined style, and eloquence captivated attendees.
The Chapter President presented a Japanese Vase to Professor Meher Afroze and a beautiful leather wallet to Munawwar Saeed. Farah Jafri, Fauzia Ahmed, and Nazli Baig prepared and served tea to the guests.
The event embodied the meaning and spirit of ‘Friendship through Flowers.’

New members Sharmeen Imran, Rubina Jawaid, and Afshan Mansoor delighted visitors with their stunning arrangements at Japan Fest 2025, a vibrant celebration held at Beach Luxury Hotel Karachi and brought to life by the Consulate-General of Japan in Karachi, together with the Arts Council of Pakistan, Pakistan Japan Cultural Association, and Pakistan Japan Business Forum. Chapter President Tarannum Afroze, joined by board members Nuzhat Jamali, Rubina Jawaid, Sabra Tufail, and member Fauzia Sarwana, warmly welcomed guests to the exhibition, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
