Workshop　 Chapter Meeting　 Open to the Public
On August 16, 2025 Moscow Chapter #256 organized an event dedicated to the work of the second Iemoto of the Sogetsu School, Kasumi Teshigahara (1932-1980).

First, in the Art Studio Hall of the V.V. Veresaev Library, the members created miniature Ikebana compositions. Later, in the lecture hall, Oxana Shtyk, a member of our chapter, delivered a remarkable lecture on the work of Kasumi Teshigahara and presented unique translations of Kasumi’s books from Japanese.

Demonstration　 Chapter Meeting　 Open to the Public
On June 21, 2025, an event was held at the V.V. Veresaev Library, dedicated to our chapter’s participation in the I.I. 13th World Conventional in Kyoto and the post-Convention workshops at the Sogetsu School Headquarters in Tokyo.

The meeting began with a presentation by Olga Yudina (the first President of the Moscow Chapter) about the previous conventions attended by the members of the Moscow Chapter.

– a vivid account of President Svetlana Mishina’s participation in Ikebana International 13th World Convention and her unforgettable impressions of it
– a presentation by a Board member, Chinara Munduzbaeva on the post-Convention master classes held at the Sogetsu School Headquarters in Tokyo.
– Demonstration compositions: the Sogetsu School’s master class by Daria Tulipina and Marina Sheniara.

Tea and sweets created a special atmosphere.
