Singapore Chapter #135

In conjunction with our chapter’s exhibition, “Mother’s Love” held at Paragon Atrium, we, together with Paragon management, held an Ikebana Workshop for Paragon Club members on 26 May. The proceeds for the workshop were to help raise funds for the financially disadvantaged cancer patients.

The facilitators of the workshop contributed time as well as the flower materials, and Paragon provided the marketing and venue for the event. The total amount raised was $880/-. The Singapore Chapter President Linda Soo-Tan supplemented the efforts of our chapter’s workshop facilitators with a personal contribution of $880/-, and a cheque with the final amount of $1,760/- was issued to The National University Health System (NUHS) on 1 June.

Many thanks to the Management & club members of Paragon, and not forgetting our workshop facilitators, Peggy, Gwen & Bette, Anna for the introduction and as well as our Chapter President Linda Soo-Tan for initiating the program.
