TORONTO CHAPTER #208 CANADA
September 28, 2025
Demonstration Exhibition Open to the Public
The I.I. Annual Flower Show 2025 was held on Sunday, September 28, and proved to be an exceptional success. The event represented more than an exhibition of floral artistry—it was a distinguished celebration of creativity, discipline, and the enduring spirit of Ikebana.
Each floral arrangement and demonstration reflected the high level of skill, dedication, and artistic vision of our members. The quality of the work presented demonstrated both technical excellence and a profound understanding of Ikebana principles. The result was an inspiring and memorable experience for all attendees.
The Chapter extends its sincere appreciation to all participating members and demonstrators for their outstanding contributions. Their artistry and commitment formed the foundation of the event’s success. The efforts of our volunteers also merit special recognition. Whether assisting at the Reception Desk, Do-It-Yourself Table, Grab-and-Go, Tea Room, Ginza Table, or working behind the scenes, their professionalism and enthusiasm ensured the smooth and effective execution of the show.
The Chapter gratefully acknowledges the generous support of our sponsors: Shiseido, our anonymous flower material supplier, Ginza Sushi, Auric King Fine Restaurant, Grandeur Palace, and Ritzi Palace Chinese Cuisine. Their contributions played a vital role in enhancing the quality and reach of the event.
Appreciation is also extended to members and friends who provided donations to the Ginza Table, Do-It-Yourself, Grab-and-Go, and Tea Room. Sales from these areas were highly successful, and the proceeds will be directed toward supporting the Chapter’s future programming, including the continued provision of complimentary workshops for members.
The success of the Annual Flower Show was the direct result of the dedication and collaboration of the Fundraising Committee, Show Committee, and Board Members. Their careful planning, organization, and leadership were instrumental in bringing this event to fruition.
Finally, the Chapter extends its gratitude to all guests, members, families, and supporters who attended the event. Their participation and encouragement reinforce the strong sense of community that defines our organization. The 2025 Annual Flower Show stands as a testament to the Chapter’s ongoing commitment to promoting the art and cultural heritage of Ikebana.
