The Diamond Jubilee Celebration events of Ikebana International
Hong Kong Chapter were successfully held on 6 and 7 September 2019. The Celebration Dinner
held on 6 September at the Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel was graced with the presence of Ambassador and Consul-General of Japan in Hong Kong
Mr. Mitsuhiro Wada and Honorary Patroness Mrs. Naoko Wada and was attended by over 180 guests, members and friends. We were very grateful to
Mr. Tetsunori Kawana,
Master Instructor of Sogetsu School, who specially travelled to Hong Kong from
Boston, for staging a spectacular ikebana demonstration as the highlight of our celebration.
