Chapter Meeting

On 25th July 2024, we had its first program after the summer break. A befitting tribute was made to a veteran member of our chapter, Mrs. Aruna Kirpal, through a scintillating Ikebana demonstration by an Ikebana maestro, Mrs. Divya Ansal.

Seven beautiful arrangements were made, each better than the other.Mrs. Prathiba Khanna spoke a few words on each arrangement, highlighting the fine nuances.

It was a very attended event, and the demonstration was enjoyed by one and all.

Exhibition
We joined in the celebrations of the INDO – JAPAN Friendship Month, by organizing an Ikebana Exhibition “Metals and Petals”. The program was organized on the 23rd of September 2024 at the India International Centre, Seminar Hall 1,2,3.

The participants produced inspiring arrangements. The exhibition depicted that Ikebana transcends mere decoration and speaks directly to the soul! There were 53 arrangements made by 27 very enthusiastic participants who reflected their inner artistic world!
