San Diego Chapter #119

For the first time in 21 months, San Diego Chapter members and friends were able to gather in person for our always-festive December general meeting. As has become our custom, the meeting included a Holiday Showcase, featuring 17 holiday-themed flower arrangements by the members with their inspiring and heartwarming presentation of these arrangements.

We held a cookie exchange and offered a hot tea service, giving the members and guests the opportunity to enjoy long-awaited social time with each other, while continuing to assure a safe Covid-free environment. It was wonderful to be together again! We invited the guests from various garden clubs, the San Diego Floral Association, the Mingei International Museum docents, and others, to join us to see the exhibition, purchase the containers or other Ikebana-related items we had received as a donation over the previous months, enjoy Holiday cookies, and become acquainted with our organization.
