St. Petersburg Chapter #65
On September 19 Suzanne Haskell (Ichiyo School) and Susan Taylor (Ohara School) presented “Growing Wild in our Native Gardens”. They utilized Florida native plants and flowers in their demonstration of Ikebana arrangements. We then had lunch together with food brought from home followed by an afternoon workshop by school.
On October 17 both Linda Urell (Ichiyo) and Trish Weimar (Ikenobo) made several fall arrangements each using mums with guidelines of their individual schools.
Following the demonstration, we all had a bagged lunch brought from home. Workshops were then held by school in the afternoon.
