Portland Chapter #47

As is customary at year’s end, the business portion of our last meeting was devoted to the installation of a new slate of officers for 2023-24.
That accomplished, we moved on to a workshop-type program on leaf manipulation, beginning with two members’ demonstrating several techniques. The real fun began when we were all given a variety of leaves with which to experiment. It was a real eye-opener for many of us, and it sent us home with new techniques to try out in our arrangements.

Last, but not least, the luncheon. Not only were we hungry after all our hard work, but we were meeting in a venue new to our chapter, and we were eager to put it to the test! What a success! The food was delicious and the service was exceptional.
