Chapter Meeting
Our first meeting of the new season kicked off with an interesting history of the Japanese in the Tacoma, WA area and Seattle. The presenter, Kris Staudinger, a travel journalist and tour guide, showed photographs of early important sites in the Tacoma area for Japanese residents and how they look now. It was a good history lesson of the contributions of Japanese people and the influence they had in Tacoma’s history.
