Hong Kong Chapter #24

This year ‘s Annual Christmas Luncheon’s atmosphere was much more joyous than ever before as we could come together to celebrate and met old friends whom we had not seen for 2 years. Our guests of Honour were Ms. Shima Minako from the Consulate General of Japan, Ms. Tina Tai from the HK Government’s Leisure Cultural Services Department, and Ms. Matron Isadora Wong from the Duchess of Kent Children’s Hospital.
Our special guest demonstrator was Ms. Gary Kwok who is a renowned floral designer in Hong Kong.　She did 7 different arrangements which reflected her floral designs. They were inspiring and full of conceptual imagination. There was a mini membership exhibition participated by 15 members representing Sogetsu, Ohara and Ikenobo schools. We also had a mini sales market with 6 sales tables with all kinds of lovely Christmas choices for members to shop, and a percentage of the sales would be donated to support our charity work at the Duchess of Kent’s Children Hospital. Another highlight point was the raffle lucky draw with 65 prizes. Many members were happy with their winnings.
