64th Annual Exhibition

Our chapter’s Annual Ikebana Exhibition for 2023 was presented as both virtual and in-person events. This year’s theme was “Welcome Spring.”
The in-person exhibition was held during the Mother’s Day weekend (May 13th & 14th) at the Mercer Island United Methodist Church. The exhibition featured twenty-nine (29) ikebana arrangements from eight (8) ikebana schools. We were highly honored that Mr. Hisao Inagaki (Consul General of Japan in Seattle) and Mrs. Yuki Inagaki visited our exhibition on Saturday afternoon.
The Seattle Chapter Webmaster created a “virtual exhibition page” and posted it on our chapter’s website from May 20th to June 4th, 2023. In addition to the photos from the above mentioned in-person exhibit, seventeen (17) more ikebana arrangement photos representing four (4) different ikebana schools and one video showing vibrant flowers were submitted for this virtual event.
